Hello everyone.
Bobo continues to grow and to be the absolute CUTEST puppy there ever was!
With the helpful hints from Zoner, I may try to put some pics up before long.
The baseball playoffs are in full swing. My favorite team, the Cardinals, have played so well the last two games, that I am in shock. I really thought they would lose this series to San Diego in 3 straight games. Of course, since it's best of five, they could still be "swept" out of the playoffs. At this point, though, it looks like STL goes to the championship series......to receive the beatdown from the NY Mets. Oh well.
This weekend at church is our annual Spiritual Life Conference. Three sessions, all day Sunday, with Dr. Mike Wittmer from Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary, part of Cornerstone University. I have the privilege of leading singing, and presenting special music in Session One. "Who Am I" by Casting Crowns.
IE (my dear wife) is scheduled for surgery on Oct. 26, for removal of the gall bladder. Hopefully this clears up the recent troubles she has had.
Illinois football is still sky high after the upset of Michigan State at East Lansing.
It's homecoming this weekend, with the Illini hosting Indiana.
So, how bout all the flap over Mark Foley and the contact with congressional pages? Very inappropriate and ill-advised, to be sure. But isn't it funny..........
Democrats always demand the resignation of any and all Republicans when scandal among Republicans breaks out................yet if a Democrat scandal erupts, Democrats DEFEND their boy.........and accuse those who disagree of being "intolerant." So really...................who is more intolerant?
