A sabbatical.............
I am taking a sabbatical from this blog. I have recently been confronted with hypocrisy and inconsistencies in my life which, in order to correct, will take all my time and energy.....plus, frankly, I do not wish to put it out in this forum, for public comsumption. I trust that you will understand. There will be a time when it is right and proper to return. At such time, I will do so. Until then.........

Seven years of marriage!
Hello again everyone.
It has been fourteen days since my last post. In that time, IE (my dear wife) and I participated as instructors at our church's Vacation Bible School, and were able to spend some time with our niece Lexi, among other things. In addition, I received my yearly raise at work. Hoo-ha..............
This Sunday, Aug. 14 is IE's birthday, and Aug. 15 is our seventh wedding anniversary. For the latter occasion, I am planning to take her to our nearest local Red Lobster restaurant. She really enjoys the seafood there. I am not so much into stuff like king crab legs and such, but I am able to find something on the menu I enjoy. It's worth it to see her enjoy herself.
Over Labor Day weekend we will be attending a family reunion in Keokuk Iowa. My mother's side of the family resides there. It's always a good time getting together.
I'm sure I'll have more to report on early next week. Until then.................
